I think the seat adjustment switches in the shape of a seat in the S65 AMG is pretty cool.
But the coolest minor thing in my eyes is the Saab ignition key hole location

I wonder if at some point some Merc stylist was like "remember, no dicks"

The SRT Viper has racetracks hidden throughout the interior, which I think is a cool little detail.

Tesla has the copyright on power dicks.

The last gen Infiniti i30/i35 had an electronic rear sunshade

How common are third visors? (a mini visor above the rearview mirror)

To be fair, lots of cars have that. But it is a cool feature.

A few 90s Japanese luxury cars have it, such as the Infiniti J30 and ES300

Actually, I've noticed these are common in old people cars.

Waste of money. All Viper owners would prefer just a straight line.

The Viper ACR disagrees. Actually, I've never even seen a Viper built for drag racing less than a mile.

You say Mercedes seat controls are cool? I say, better are the Volvo AC-cent-control-button human diagram. Kinda like the Merc seat controls, except for cool, fresh air.

OH OH I have one of those! The mk4 Golf platform had them, and it comes in handy all the time when driving my GTI. Come to think of it, the mk4 Golf had a lot of interesting interior features.

It's just too bad they weren't good cars though :(

My GTI is good enough for me. Practical, good looking, quirky features (like the tiny sun visor or pop-out cupholders), a fun, interesting, and bulletproof engine (the 2.8 24v vr6), 6-speed manual. Ones that were loaded with features like mine have leather interiors, nice recaro seats with heating function, a decent audio system, and sunroofs. Yeah, the pedal placement blows for heel toe shifting and they're heavier than they should be, but they're fun, relatively cheap cars with a pretty big aftermarket scene. I'm working on cutting down the weight on mine, and stiffening up the suspension has turned it into a whole new car. Yeah, I sound like a fanboy, but I love that car. It may just be that I know I won't be getting anything new for a long time, but I've embraced it for what it is.

I'm definitely no VW fanboy, but I gotta admit that the 15-degree VR6 is a great idea. I wish more V6's were narrow like that!
